Journal Entry: Dear Sam
Dear Sam,
Been a few days since my last entry. Been pretty busy on the island. New summer term started this week so there’s an influx of new people on the island. New kid in the manor who is too cheerful for words. I’m going to avoid her like the plague.
Tuesday the boss gave me a key to her lock boxes in the back room. After seeing what was in those boxes I gave the key back. Too many bad decisions to make there. Including making a wish.
I won’t lie. I considered it. For the astrophysicist. It wouldn’t work and even if it did it would mean giving an enemy something they would want.
I’m not making a decision to help someone else at the cost of causing another disaster. We’ve done that too often.
Today I bunny hopped through town carrying balloon animals and got beaten by a teenager. Then I got drunk on frog Jell-O shots.
Only on this island.
